Stainless Steel 310/310S Bolts are specially designed fasteners that can handle extreme heat and resist oxidation, making them perfect for tough environments. Crafted from chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, these bolts boast impressive strength and durability, even at temperatures soaring up to 1150°C (2100°F). The 310 grade features a higher carbon content for added strength, while the 310S variant has lower carbon, which enhances its weldability and minimizes carbide precipitation. Both grades are reliable performers in thermal cycling and oxidizing conditions, making them ideal for use in furnaces, boilers, heat treatment equipment, and petrochemical plants.
When it comes to their chemical makeup, Stainless Steel 310/310S contains 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, which provide exceptional resistance to scaling, oxidation, and high-temperature corrosion. The 310S variant has a maximum carbon content of 0.08%, which improves its weldability without sacrificing thermal stability. Typically, these bolts exhibit a tensile strength ranging from 520–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa, along with excellent creep resistance and good ductility across a broad temperature range.
